Start off with a tetrahedron (a 3D shape made of four triangles glued together). On each of the four sides, build up a smaller tetrahedron. This new shape has many more smaller triangular sides and is sometimes called a merkaba. On each of the triangular sides of the new shape, build up an even smaller tetrahedron.
